Postcrossing Debut

I joined Postcrossing about a month ago but hadn't gotten around to posting any cards yet! How naughty ... mostly because I wanted to handmake the cards and, using some information from the recipients' profiles, include something tailored to their interests/likes. This process for me entails bountiless amounts of proscrastination ...
BUT (finally) here are my first 2 Postcrossing cards EVER!
The left one is going to a guy in USA who likes cute animals and the one on the right is going to a woman in Finland who likes to know something about where you live.

Pigment markers on card

After I made these I trawled the Postcrossing forum on Flickr and discovered a lot of people being negative towards 'handmade' postcards ... uh oh ... but I will continue to handmake all mine and hopefully everyone who receives them will be okay with that ...

Pose Maniacs

Been trying to do 10 of these 30 second gesture drawings everyday using the resources over at Pose Maniacs. According to website 2 sets of 10 drawings is an ideal exercise. Will start doing 2 sets today!

These were done with a Wacom and Photoshop. I've done these on paper before and it seems much faster for me but in the interest of saving paper I'm sticking with the digital version :D

A History of Music

Here's the animation I finished up before Christmas for the guys at Pro-Juice. It's a weekly half-hour show presented by Arlo Enemark with info, tutorials and interviews aimed at independent producers that want to make, distribute and market their own media (paraphrased from the DVD insert).

Sydney Holiday Recap

This blog is supposed to be just for doodling and animation related posts but I thought a photo mosaic of our little holiday in Sydney would be a good illustration of what I was doing when I wasn't doing anything remotely productive! (Unless you count adding a few kg's around the middle section).

Today is my official 'day back at work' ... at home ... lol ... so regular posts are to resume shortly ;)
